MEET BRETT

Brett Wingo is a 30-year veteran of notable Silicon Valley technology companies. He began his career at Apple, where he spent a decade before co-founding a start-up that was acquired shortly after a successful product launch. Brett enjoyed the start-up world for many more years as a senior executive and finished with two acquisition exits and a wealth of experience in business and leadership across software, hardware, services and consulting businesses. In 2008 Brett joined Cisco and held many senior executive leadership positions, including the COO of Cisco’s Consumer division, and the GM and CEO role for Linksys. Following the turnaround and sale of Linksys, he became the General Manager for several business groups, with full P & L responsibility of businesses from $500M to $4.6B in annual revenues. During his last three years at Cisco he led the transformation of Cisco’s $12B services business into a recurring revenue model built on cutting-edge customer success methodologies and modern software developed by his team.
 

Known as a transformational leader with a keen eye to quickly identify and accelerate the future potential of a business and the executive team, he has increased profit and growth substantially in all of the businesses that he has led. His passion for building exceptional executives and leading great teams is fundamental to his success and his start-up and M & A experience gives him insight into the keys of fruitful buy and sell transactions. In addition, Brett has a strong passion for developing leaders, organization design and business strategy that has led him into his new career in consulting, teaching and business advisory.
